The Problem

Our task was to revolutionise the outdated website of Broken Eggs, addressing several key challenges that hindered its effectiveness in engaging with the target audience. The original site presented some shortcomings, including:

1. Absence of a Menu: The previous website lacked a dedicated menu section, depriving visitors of an essential element for exploring Broken Eggs' tantalising culinary offerings.
2. Lengthy Single-Page Layout: All the content cramped into a single page, resulting in a cumbersome scrolling experience for users. It created a disjointed presentation and made it difficult for visitors to find specific information.
3. Limited Scope: The previous site solely showcased the food menu, failing to encapsulate the unique story, ambiance, and character of Broken Eggs. It missed the opportunity to create an emotional connection with visitors.
4. Lack of Brand Narrative: The old website lacked storytelling elements, failing to communicate the passion, history, and vision behind Broken Eggs. It missed the chance to captivate visitors and leave a lasting impression.

Our Approach

With a deep understanding of Broken Eggs' unique identity, our approach to revamping their website was centered around simplicity and storytelling. We aimed to strike the perfect balance between a clean, intuitive user experience and capturing the essence of the restaurant's vibrant Spanish heritage.

Through thoughtfully selected imagery, vibrant colours, and carefully crafted content, we immersed visitors in the rich narrative behind the restaurant. From sharing the founders' inspiring journey to infusing the website with the warmth and energy that defines Broken Eggs, every element was thoughtfully designed to evoke a sense of connection and leave a lasting impression.
